A little about the journey
What has shaped the work.
I have spent a good part of my working life trying to turn complicated ideas into things that people can actually use. I enjoy building, learning, and working with people who care about getting the details right.
Some of the lessons that have stayed with me came through disappointment, starting again and unexpected grace. Those seasons changed how I think about success, how I treat people and what I consider worth pursuing.
My faith is part of that story. So is the work of listening, being corrected and showing up again. Audacious Humility gives me language for that ongoing practice.
What shapes the work
Several threads.
One direction.
Faith as foundation.
My convictions are anchored in God, grace, love, Scripture and the responsibility to live what I believe.
Humanity by design.
I am drawn to complex systems, but the point is always people: their dignity, agency, lives and futures.
Stewardship over status.
I want to build things that outlast applause and take seriously the trust that comes with influence.
Becoming over arrival.
I am not writing as someone who has perfected these ideas. I am writing as someone committed to practising them.
The journey continues
Words, work,
and witness.
My writing includes Itsose, a conversational guide to self-improvement and habit formation, and Postures of Agape, an exploration of transformative love.
My broader work spans architecture, strategy, community-centred endeavours and Omosa, a distinct home for faith, wisdom and stewardship. Each asks a different question, but all require me to bring thought, responsibility and care together.
There is still a great deal I need to learn. I mean that in the most ordinary way possible.
